Oregon’s own Aaron Olson (T-Mobile) is in the news, only it has pretty much nothing to do with his cycling. It has to do with his girlfriend.

Olson and his girlfriend, Kim Anderson, are both pro cyclists and both ride for T-Mobile, so they’re getting to spend some time together at the team’s training camp in Mallorca right now. Anderson also was instrumental in getting Olson his current T-Mobile contract (he left Saunier Duval last year). The two will apparently not cross paths this year, as the only time that happened last year - the Tour of Flanders - Anderson broke her collarbone and Olson broke his hand. Yes, perhaps it’s better that this couple stay far, far away from each other. At least during the racing season.
