Basso’s Hometown Jumps on the Investigation Bandwagon
By Jessica | Permalink |
Something tells me that life for Ivan Basso isn’t going to be easy for a very long time.
2006 Giro d’Italia champion Ivan Basso’s legal problems were compounded today after news that his home town will be opening an investigation into his admitted involvement in the Operación Puerto doping case. According to AFP, a magistrate of Basso’s home town of Busto Arsizio in Northern Italy said that a criminal investigation into whether Basso violatied Italy’s antidoping laws was opened on Thursday.
When your hometown is out to get you, you know you’re in trouble.
