Paris-Nice: Popovych Makes it Two in a Row for Discovery

By Jessica | Permalink | No Comments | March 16th, 2007 | Trackback

Yaroslav Popovych took off from his fellow stage five breakaway riders with about 40km to go. For much of the day, he was the leader on the road even though he started the day over two minutes back on GC. The peloton nearly caught him, too - the bunch finished 14 seconds behind him - so even though he won’t be donning the yellow jersey, he did pick up a well-deserved stage win.

All CyclingNews has right now is the list of the top ten finishers on the day and the top four on GC, but this is where they’ll have the stage report later on.
