Verizon Wireless Womens Cycling Team
Dawn Richardson
is a former member of the Verizon Wireless-Cervelo Women’s Cycling Team. She is a board-certified emergency medicine physician practicing at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, and is a clinical instructor in emergency medicine at Brown Medical School.

Anyway, through speaking with some unnamed reformed dopers, she correlates doping and the psychological effects doping has on riders. These effects linger with the riders after retirement as well. It definitely paints a bleak picture of the actual toll it takes on the riders. Very interesting read.
