As Jessica reported several days ago, Team Slipstream recently announced that a former winner of the Paris-Roubaix would be joining their team. That rider now has been named as Swedish champion Magnus Backstedt.
Magnus, who presently rides for Liquigas, already is a favorite of many U.S. cycling fans and will continue to strengthen the team Slipstream hopes to field in next years Tour de France.

With all the bad news and threatened retreats in international cycling, it certainly is refreshing to see an organization like Slipstream continuing to build for the future!
