Cameras on Bike Wheels

By Jessica | Permalink | No Comments | June 22nd, 2007 | Trackback

The other day in Cycling.tv’s coverage of the Tour de Suisse there was a Liquigas rider who had a little camera attached to the front fork of his bike… And then today there was another guy (I can’t remember the team) who had the same setup. It looked so incredibly cool, and I’d never seen that before. It was fleeting, and I don’t know if they’ll be doing more of that (I kind of doubt it, as I can imagine riders complaining about the extra weight or something), but I’d love to see it. Does anyone out there know more about this technology? Can we expect to see it during the Tour de France, or is this just a Tour de Suisse thing? Inquiring minds want to know.
