Around the Web on Wheels: 6 March 2007

Now that we know the entire 2007 racing season isn’t coming apart at the spandex seams, we can relax (a little) and catch up on some news:

  • Not everyone is happy with the UCI-ASO bargain reached yesterday in Belgium. Unibet, for one, isn’t any better off today than they were a week ago.
  • Eurosport has secured the rights to broadcast all major Italian races on Eurosport and eurosport.com.
  • Jörg Jaksche will be retiring from cycling because he’s not been hired by a new team since being implicated in Operación Puerto.
  • Chris at Podium Cafe has a theory about Italians on cobbles. Being an Italophile, I’m fully willing to get behind it.

Woohoo! Another Italophile. Killer links your putting out… much more thorough than I’ve been.

We should do a link trade, eh?

I only recently discovered Podium Cafe, and now I’m hooked. :) I mean, heck - if I can’t say it any better than you did, why bother, right?
