By Jessica | Permalink |Here are some cycling news items to discuss with your sweetheart over Valentine’s dinner:
- Team Unibet’s exclusions from big ProTour races might mean big problems for the team - including the loss of the main sponsor.
- The Tour of California organizers have announced extensive tests to make sure their race doesn’t get embroiled in a doping scandal.
- A slap on the wrist from the IOC isn’t going to keep Dick Pound down. He’s up against the man here. Except he’s also the man. Damn.
- Ullrich has won a small legal victory, and he’ll probably take every legal victory he can get right now.
- Lance Armstrong plans to do the New York Marathon again this year. Oh, and don’t ask him about his relationships ever again.
- Curious about more than the athletes? Wondering about the science behind the sport? Science of Cycling comes to the rescue.
